Would you like to help us? Or can we help you?

We recognise the current logistical and financial pressures on practices and would like to assist your administration staff who are part-time or not currently working, with an opportunity to work on the COVID response based at Pegasus House.

We are looking for administration staff to assist with non-clinical support triaging. The role involves contacting referred patients via phone utilising a pre-prepared script, phone screening and booking patients into appointments at the various Community-based Assessment Centres (CBACs). It does not require clinical experience. We require people who are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, using technology (including MedTech) and delivery of an excellent customer experience. Training will be provided.

We are also looking for nurses for a higher level of triaging referrals to CBACs.

These roles are integral to efficient functioning of CBACs.

People in these roles will be paid by Pegasus Health with hours available from 8am to 8pm 7 days a week. There are two shifts, 8am to 2pm and 2pm to 8pm. Ideally we would like people to be available for three shifts per week including the afternoon and weekend shifts.

Please get in touch with the EOC HR team based at Pegasus: recruitment@pegasus.org.nz.

Community-based Assessment Centres

We are also seeking doctors, nurses and healthcare assistants to work in Community-based Assessment Centres across Canterbury. We have centres set up in central Christchurch, Aranui, Ashburton, Rangiora, Amberley and Kaikoura. Designated clinics are set up at Halswell, Riccarton and Rolleston.
